Office Services Manager (18 Month Contract)

About this team

The Office Services Manager is a part of the Facilities department reporting to the Senior Director, Global Workplace Design. The Office Services team plays a vital role in supporting our organization by creating and maintaining industry leading workplace experience. We are dedicated to ensuring that every aspect of the office environment from front desk operations and mailroom services is efficient, welcoming, and aligned with our company’s core values.

 

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a high-performing team of Office Services Coordinators, Shipping and Receiving Specialists, and other Office Services supporting roles across Canada. Manage hiring, scheduling, performance, and ongoing development to ensure team successOversee daily operations of the Front Desk and Mailroom, ensuring tasks are executed accurately, efficiently, and in line with service standardsVendor management: Cultivate and manage relationships with vendors, couriers, and external service providers to guarantee timely deliveries and maintain service qualityEffectively align department operations with corporate objectives, while ensuring a seamless, positive experience for both employees and guestsIdentify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes that optimize efficiency, productivity, and service deliveryContinuously optimize internal processes across the department to streamline operations and improve outcomesCollaborate closely with EA Collective and Internal Communications team to ensure flawless execution of office-wide events and initiativesPartner cross-functionally with People & Culture, Asset Protection, Technology, and other departments to provide operational support, acting as the primary stakeholder for all Office Services mattersWork closely with Corporate Security to ensure safety and security best practices are integrated into the employee and guest experienceCollaborate with the Facilities Project Team on new office openings, expansions, and closures, ensuring smooth transitions and operational readinessManage and prioritize Office Services department projects, ensuring high-impact initiatives are completed on time, within budget, and with optimal resource allocationDevelop and manage budgets for Office Services across all Canadian locations, overseeing invoice creation, team approvals, and ensuring cost efficiency and financial accuracyMonitor office-related expenses – including supplies for the Front Desks, Mailrooms, supply rooms and vendors—while identifying and recommending cost-saving initiatives where possibleLead department engagement initiatives by organizing team events, coordinating the Facilities Engagement Committee, and providing leadership support to fellow managers through reminders and team morale activities


The fine print

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (preferred)Minimum of 5 years of experience in office management or operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial roleProven leadership experience managing a team of 10+ direct reports in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentExceptional leadership and people management skills, with a strong focus on employee development, performance, and fostering a positive team cultureExpertise in team building creating an inclusive and collaborative work environment that drives engagement and productivityStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines while maintaining a high standard of serviceExcellent communication skills both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively engage with employees at all levelsStrong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service and operational efficiencyA problem-solving mindset capable of navigating complex issues and making sound decisions under pressureExperience in vendor management including negotiating contracts, managing relationships, and ensuring service qualityProven ability to manage department-wide budgets ensuring resources are used effectively and within financial guidelinesA proven track record of driving continuous improvement and inspiring innovative thinking within your team and departmentProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite programs

Compensation and Benefits Package  

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $107,500-$141,100 CAD  annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.

In-person collaboration and/or office-based work is necessary or important for the role. Work is mainly performed onsite, 4-5 days per week depending on role requirements.
