POSITION SUMMARY:

Officer, Food Safety is accountable for daily implementation of food safety and hygiene requirements at cross departments levels through daily monitoring, document review, and verifications, in accordance with HACCP and internal guidelines.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist on raw materials monitoring and verification to assure compliance with local regulations and food safety standardsDaily verification of food safety program to ensure effective execution, through observation, document review, verification of procedure compliancesMonitor and assess cleaning and sanitation of food preparation area and processAssist and coordinate with food sample collection, and audits. Review inspections reports and ensure corrective and follow up actions are taken in timely fashionExecute food safety program, provide ongoing training and evaluation to staffCoordinate with culinary and service team to implement improvements to dairy operation on hygiene mattersAdhere to all Company policies and proceduresReport accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to supervisorsPerform other reasonable job duties as assigned by supervisors from time to time

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience

Minimum of one year's experience in food safety or quality assurance or relevant experience in hospitality industry or catering operations.

Education

Degree holder in food science or a related field is preferred

Skills / Competencies

Ability to coordinate and cooperate with others in a multicultural environmentTeam player who able to work independently with minimum supervisionGood communication skills in both English & ChineseAbility to work with computer programs such as MS Office suit Knowledge and experience with HACCP or ISO 22000 an asset Ability to work on flexible shift including overnight, weekends and holiday on rotation basisAbility to work on overtime when needed
