POSITION SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Supervisor, Security Control Room, the Officer, Security Control Room is responsible for monitoring all non-gaming related operational functions of the Security Department and other areas to ensure a safe, secure and comfortable environment within company operations is maintained.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Observes and monitors persons on premises using CCTV camera system, respond to persons behaving suspiciously or unlawfully and reports security breachesAllocates resources and tasks by responding, in a timely manner, to telephone/radio requests, monitoring progression/completion of tasks, recording and logging of all relevant informationAcknowledges, responds and records all alarms within appropriate time frameMaintains All Security SystemsMonitors and coordinates communications during emergenciesMaintains and monitors radios and equipmentProvides assistance and information to security operationsPerforms administrative tasks including reports and compilation of data statistics and analysis of metricsAdheres to and exhibits pro-active leadership in accordance with MELCO's Health and Safety policy by assuming reasonable accountability for the health and safety of employees and for the working environmentAdheres to and exhibits pro-active leadership in accordance with all established policies and procedures within the department and company’s operationsAdheres to and exhibits pro-active leadership in accordance with MELCO's Equal Opportunity and Diversity policies by assuming responsibility for ensuring the workplace is free of unacceptable workplace behavior, and a workplace culture of equity and diversity is fosteredEnsure that workplace hazards and threats are minimized, and the health, safety and securityMonitors Retailers and Hotel environments as directedAdheres to all company policies and proceduresReports accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to superiors and relevant departmentsEnsures transparency and utmost confidently of proceedings and incidents reviewed and investigated from Security Control Room teamPerforms other reasonable job duties as assigned by superiors from time to time

QUALIFICATIONS:


Experience

Casino Security ExperiencePrevious CCTV experience or Technical background is an advantageExperience with security access control systems and Photo ID applications
