POSITION SUMMARY:

Officer is responsible for providing support to the Public Relations department in the execution of public relations programs.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support tactical PR programs to optimise media return & to promote awareness effectively for respective property of the companyHandle media enquiries, media visits and shootingsMaintain effective professional relationships with key media and stakeholders to maximise positive publicity for the integrated resorts and hotels of MelcoDevelop and upkeep press materials and media databaseSupport logistics for key media events and programsSupport market research, analyses, and reports with regards to related media programsKeep the latest information of the key happenings in town

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience

1 year working experience in the public relations or communications field is preferredStrong established hotel/travel media network is preferred

Education

University graduate, preferably in Public Relations, Marketing or Journalism

Skills / Competencies

Fluent in both written and spoken English, Cantonese and MandarinGood command of written & spoken Japanese or Korean is an advantageProficiency in MS Office applications and Chinese word processingHighly motivated, creative, with a positive and professional attitude
