Registered Children's Home Manager

Salary: £50,000 to £55,000

Location: Birmingham

Role Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Children's Home Manager for a 2-bed home specialising in learning disabilities (LD). This is a full-time, on-site position. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and ensuring the provision of a safe and nurturing environment for the children in our care.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the daily operations of the children's homeEnsure a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for the childrenOversee care plans and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standardsCollaborate with staff, social workers, and other professionalsMaintain high standards of safeguarding and child protection

Qualifications:

Proven experience in managing a children's residential settingStrong leadership and communication skillsIn-depth knowledge of safeguarding and child protection proceduresUnderstanding of regulations and standards relevant to children's homesAbility to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary teamExcellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
