Wood is recruiting for a site based Overhead Lines (OHL) Transmission General Foreman to join the Wood Transmission & Distribution Ltd entity, overseeing multi-disciplinary teams on overhead line transmission projects.  You will ensure the delivery of high-quality construction supervision, uphold safety standards without compromising staff or environmental integrity, and coordinate efforts among Foremen, Linesmen, Support Staff, and sub-contractors while liaising effectively with clients and third parties to meet company goals and schedules.

This role is site based primarily in the Scottish central belt region with long term project sites based in Argyll and Bute supporting our client SSE. This opportunity is a site-based position, we have works issued under various OHL frameworks which mean the position is UK wide. You will need to be flexible in your work location as you will be away from home for periods of time and will travel and work across the UK.
