Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Oil and Gas Engineer to join our team. This role involves working on a variety of projects including pipeline mainline, trenchless installations, and associated facilities such as metering/regulation, compression, over-pressure protection, and storage. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in engineering, with a focus on natural gas pipelines and related facilities.
ResponsibilitiesDesign and calculate linear pipelines.Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.Perform quality checks on designs and installations.Review and evaluate manufacturers' drawings.Prepare procurement specifications and construction documents.Evaluate bids and select appropriate contractors.Conduct conceptual design studies and write comprehensive reports.Select materials and equipment for projects.Observe construction activities to ensure adherence to design specifications.Participate in project meetings and provide technical input.Handle project permitting and ensure all regulatory requirements are met.Perform site investigations and evaluate environmental conditions.Execute other similar tasks as assigned.Essential SkillsBachelor’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.0-3 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Earth.Experience with natural gas pipelines and trenchless crossings.Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate or the ability to obtain it.Ability to perform site investigations and evaluate permitting requirements.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with natural gas regulating facilities is preferred.Strong preference for candidates with ArcGIS skills.Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Civil).Experience with midstream, pipeline, and GIS.Work Environment
This position requires 3-4 days per week in the Englewood office, with 4 days preferred for less experienced candidates. Travel may be up to 30%, but typically around 20%, depending on project locations and timelines. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $31.25 - $40.87/hr.
