JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Summary:

Installs, configures, calibrates, and repairs technical products and systems at shop location. Provides exceptional customer service and technical aptitude for servicing vehicles and maintenance in a fast-paced environment.

Entry-level position typically requiring prior knowledge or experience.

Job Description:

Specific responsibilities include:

Drain motor oil, change oil filterWash windshield and adjust tire pressureInspect and top off fluidsPerform coolant exchangesMaintain cleanliness of work environmentProvide excellent customer serviceAssist the customer in selecting oil type and other servicesProcess payment for servicesRestock and maintain inventory levels on the floorMaintain cleanliness of work environmentCommunicates information that requires some explanation or interpretation

Skills/Qualifications/Physical Requirements:

Must have a valid driver’s licenseAble to bend or stand at least 80% of the time; must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3' deep pit used to position self safely under carsMust be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods of time and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turningCapable of working any day of the week including Sundays and work in hot/cold weather conditionsMust be able to lift up to fifty (50) poundsBasic computer skills: ability to use a keyboard and a mouse to correctly collect and enter information into a point of sale systemExceptional customer service skillsWhere applicable: ability to obtain a state-issued inspector’s license is preferredAttention to detailAbility to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and team membersComfortable working in fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks to accomplish goalsMotivated self-starter who is willing to work independently and with teams
