Position: Okta SME
Duration: 6 + months
**Position Overview:**
As an OKTA SME, you will play a critical role for new installation, configuration designing, implementing, and managing our OKTA solutions.
You will provide expert guidance on best practices, integration strategies, and security protocols to ensure optimal use of the OKTA platform.
**Key Responsibilities:**
Implementation & Configuration: Lead the implementation and configuration of OKTA solutions tailored to business needs.
Integration Management: Oversee integrations between OKTA and other applications/services, ensuring seamless connectivity and user experience.
User Training & Support: Develop and deliver training sessions for end-users and IT staff on OKTA functionalities and best practices.
Security & Compliance: Ensure all identity management processes comply with organizational security policies and regulatory requirements.
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to OKTA architecture, configurations, and processes.
Troubleshooting: Serve as the primary point of contact for resolving complex issues related to the OKTA platform.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on OKTA features and best practices, recommending enhancements and optimizations as needed.
**Qualifications:**
Proven experience with OKTA or similar identity and access management platforms.
Strong understanding of SSO, MFA, and user provisioning/deprovisioning processes.
Familiarity with APIs, integration methods, and security protocols.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across departments.
Relevant certifications (e.g., OKTA Certified Consultant) are a plus.
**Preferred Skills:**
Experience in cloud technologies and SaaS applications.
Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation.
Understanding of ITIL or similar frameworks.
