The Opportunity:
OWG Tech department is seeking a seasoned Senior Technology Delivery Manager to spearhead technology integration in mergers and acquisitions. This role demands a strategic and hands-on leader with a proven track record in managing complex software projects. The successful candidate will align technology integration with MMC’s standards, drive innovation, and ensure seamless transitions, all while actively engaging in processes to guarantee successful delivery. Key Responsibilities:
Technology Integration: Lead the technology integration process for mergers and acquisitions, ensuring alignment with MMC standards, best practices, and objectives related to software solutions.Project Management: Develop and manage project plans and timelines for technology-related M&A activities, focusing on adherence to schedules and compliance with technological and security requirements.Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including IT, Product Owners (PO), Project Managers (PM), Development teams, Senior Management, and relevant business domains to ensure successful integration of software solutions.Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with technology integration in M&A projects, ensuring a smooth transition into existing infrastructure and compliance with security requirements.Due Diligence: Conduct thorough technology due diligence to assess the IT/software solutions landscape of target companies and identify potential integration challenges.Change Management: Develop and implement change management strategies to facilitate user adoption of the acquiring organization’s infrastructure and standards.Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on the progress of technology integration projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards are met.Vendor Management: Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers involved in M&A technology projects, ensuring alignment with integration goals.Innovation and Improvement: Identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement in technology delivery and integration, particularly in software development and deployment.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.Minimum of 8 years of experience in technology delivery management, with a focus on the software development side of mergers and acquisitions.Proven track record of successfully managing complex technology integration projects, especially in software environments.Strong understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, and software architecture.Excellent project management skills, with PMP or similar certification preferred.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Experience with change management and driving organizational change.Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities.Skills and Attributes:
