Capacity Modeling

Ensure tool capacity aligns with wafer output requirements at the manufacturing area level.Maintain accurate capacity models through periodic audits and workstation performance validation.Design or enhance models to ensure accuracy and functionality.Provide timely capacity planning visibility for the Manufacturing Team using static and dynamic models.Identify opportunities to maximize tool utilization and minimize cycle time.

Benchmarking

Collaborate with MI and partner Fabs to close gaps in workstation performance to meet external benchmarks.Drive internal benchmarking to improve tool performance within workstations.

Data Analysis

Understand Micron’s data structure and effectively manipulate and retrieve data using SQL.Comprehend relational database models and normalization to represent complex real-world data structures.Analyze raw data using statistical tools.Make data-driven decisions and recommendations to customer groups using decision analysis tools.

Managerial Roles and Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of engineers and analysts to achieve departmental goals.Develop and implement strategic plans to improve manufacturing efficiency and productivity.Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management.Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.Manage budget and resource allocation to optimize operational efficiency.Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.Facilitate training and development programs to enhance team skills and knowledge.
