This role is vital to the success of our events, focusing on setup and breakdown to ensure a seamless guest experience. If you enjoy hands-on work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and are committed to excellence, this is a great opportunity for personal and professional growth. Your Responsibilities Include: Setting up banquet rooms according to Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), including arranging tables, chairs, staging, and AV equipment. Ensuring all meeting spaces are set to the exact specifications of the BEO, including room layout, table skirting, linens, and any additional requested items. Breaking down and resetting banquet spaces after events, including proper storage of tables, chairs, and equipment. Maintaining cleanliness and organization in back hallways, storage rooms, and setup equipment areas. Inspecting room setups to ensure proper standards and quality control before event start times. Assisting with lighting, sound, and AV setups as needed. Coordinating with banquet captains and event managers to ensure all setups meet client expectations. Reporting and addressing any maintenance or safety issues, such as broken equipment or hazards, promptly. Demonstrating a high level of professionalism and service by accommodating last-minute changes and client requests. Supporting the banquet team in other capacities as needed to ensure the success of events. Expectations for On-Call Associates: On-call associates are required to work a minimum of five shifts per quarter to remain active in the position. Flexibility is key—shifts may include early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends and holidays. Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, such as tables and chairs. Knowledge of safety standards and ability to proactively address potential hazards.
