THE JOB:
As an On Call Concierge for Mandalay Bay, you are an essential part of guest experience. Your ability to swiftly adapt to booking systems and software’s, combined with your commitment to delivering exceptional guest service will set the stage for the memories that they can carry with them well past their stay with us. In a collaboration of team efforts, you will efficiently manage guest requests, actively promote, and upsell venues and offerings, and assist with check-ins and check-outs. By delivering top-notch recommendations, and assistance, you play a crucial role in elevating the overall guest experience.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Efficiently process all guest requests received through calls, front facing experiences, text, email, through virtual concierge, or fax
Actively promote and upsell MGM Resorts’ venues and services including but not limited to amenities, rooms, restaurants, shows, cabanas, retail outlets, M Life, casino events, property promotions, Spa & Salon service bookings and more
Address and resolve guest conflicts promptly, anticipating and mitigating potential challenges to ensure a seamless experience
Serve as a brand ambassador by building strong relationships and representing the property professionally with both vendors and guests
Handle multiple tasks across up to 26 operating systems simultaneously to meet guest needs
Continuously expand your knowledge of citywide offerings and build a strong professional network within the hospitality industry
Stay informed about policies and procedures across various departments to facilitate accurate and efficient bookings
Perform guest check-ins and check-outs as needed and coordinate pre-arrival, transportation and additional assistance to VIP guests
THE STARTING PAY RATE: $19.00
THE SCHEDULE: On call
Hours of Operation: 8 am – 8 pm daily
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
One (1) year of relevant guest service experience
Must be 21 years of age or older
High school diploma, GED or educational equivalent
Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidays
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
One (1) year of relevant guest services experience in a similar resort setting
Has a passion for Service, is resourceful in finding solutions, and can efficiently multi-task
Has exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
Bilingual
Is proficient in Microsoft Office
Has previous experience using any of the following systems: Opera, OpenTable, SevenRooms, Archtics , and Alice
