Are you an expert in industrial energy management analysis and modeling? We need you. We are seeking an expert who can leverage their experience in leading energy use analysis and modeling in manufacturing plants to help identify and pursue new business opportunities and guide industrial energy analysts in identifying opportunities to save energy. This is a remote, on-call role that provides flexibility to work from zero to 30+ hours per week.
What you will be doing:
Providing expert guidance and quality-assurance oversight to modeling professionals developing energy use models for manufacturing plants.
Providing perspective on data availability, acquisition, and quality, and the potential for leveraging those data to generate insight into industrial sector energy use.
Interfacing with industrial companies’ energy managers and senior leadership to help them understand the value of energy use benchmarking for their operations.
Identifying plant key performance indicators to identify top candidates for intensive technical support.
Supporting the development of new guidance materials, tip sheets, communications materials, and case studies by providing input and technical reviews.
Performing technical assessments and making recommendations to program and project managers to aid in successful achievement of program goals and objectives.
Offering expert advice to ICF and our clients on relevant data analysis and modeling questions.
Identifying, evaluating, and helping to pursue new business opportunities for applying similar kinds of industrial energy management services to new client types.
Delivering products reflective of ICF and client standards.
Minimum qualifications:
Master's degree in economics, statistics, or a related technical or scientific discipline.
15 years+ experience working in energy use modeling for the industrial sector.
Experience with corporate energy management program principles.
Preferred qualifications:
A PhD degree in economics, statistics, or a related technical or scientific discipline.
20+ years of practical energy use modeling for the industrial sector.
An earned national reputation as an expert in the industrial energy use field.
Strong interpersonal communication and project management skills.
Passion for saving energy and helping others achieve their energy-reduction goals.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:
$143,663.00 - $244,227.00N Carolina Remote Office (NC99)
