On Call-Office Service Associate Floater

Looking for a reliable and self-motivated candidate that would be On-Call when there is a need for coverage our local accounts. Would be able to communicate effectively with many different types of people along with willing to perform multiple tasks. This is a great position for someone who is Retired and looking for something that is not full time, as you will not be working every day.\n

Key Responsibilities:\n\nHandle all materials received in the Mail Center (receive, review, receipt, document, process, prepare, identify, separate, deliver, transport, etc.).\nDeliver, pickup, and transport materials within, between, to, and from various departments.\nDeliver office supplies and copy paper.\nInspect deliveries for suspicious or threatening items.\nOperate company vehicle to transport items.\nAnswer calls and provide customer service.\nPickup outbound boxes and packages from internal customer locations.\nAbility to sort items into categories according to established methods.\nPrepare items for processing, shipment or transportation.\nEnter activity data in logs, maintain records.\nEnsure all safety procedures are followed at all times.\nPrepare and process outbound courier shipments using computer or service provider's equipment (such as FedEx).\nAbility to cross train on other roles within department; responsible for carrying out other duties as appropriate due to staff absences or at the discretion of management.\nReceive and complete print request according to client expectations.\nGreet and sign in visitors at the front desk.\nRestock supplies throughout the office.\nProvide general administrative and clerical duties.\nMaintain a safe and clean lobby area.\nOther duties as assigned by manager.\n\n

Qualifications:\n\nHigh School diploma or equivalent (GED).\nMinimum of 2-5 years mail services related experience preferred with knowledge of commonly used Office Services procedures.\n1-3 years' experience with Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, etc.).\nExcellent customer service skills; must possess a \"can do\" attitude.\nExcellent communication skills both verbal and written.\nAbility to effectively work individually or in a team environment.\nCompetency in performing multiple functional tasks.\nAttention to detail.\nAbility to handle mail or hand cart, as well as flatbed.\nMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds.\n
