As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving business growth in our medium-large sales market segment. You will develop and execute strategies to win new business and deepen relationships with existing clients. This role requires a strong sales background, technical expertise, and excellent communication skills to build strategic relationships with clients.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

Developing and executing business development plans to drive growth in key marketsBuilding and maintaining strong relationships with clients, partners, and distributorsConducting technical analysis and adaptation to client conditions to drive salesManaging complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders, including engineering, legal, risk, finance, and moreCoordinating sales teams to achieve business objectivesDeveloping and growing existing customers, as well as scout and build relationships with new customersDeveloping and reviewing market strategies to stay ahead of the competition

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role, you will:

Have a bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience at Baker HughesHave a minimum of 5 years of Channel Sales experience in the oil and gas industryStrong sales experience, with a focus on building strategic relationships with new clientsTechnical expertise in products and systems, with a focus on the environment where they will be usedExcellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skillsAbility to think creatively and develop new and innovative sales strategiesExperience managing direct reports and leading sales teams
