The ON NPI Engineer supports the pre and post-sales activities, running and executing demos, proof of concept, type approval, and field trials to promote the Optical network solutions, As NPI, you will:
• Work with both customers and the architecture, solutions, and integration teams to produce detailed designs of the target network, integrating all ON parts of the Nokia Solution.
• Check that these detailed designs actually meet the client's requests through appropriate and functional solutions.
• Carry out pre-recipes and site receipts at the customer's or on the platform of the solutions or products offered.
Technical background and experience:
5 years experience of customer relation Master’s in engineering and 10 years of experience in the telecom industry, dealing with optical products especially. 1830PSS family solid knowledge Network management using the WaveSuite platform. End-to-end network experience. In charge of product demonstrations or Solution from definition to validation: work with Domain Architects to develop a test environment. Define, prepare and execute the product or solution demonstration. Evaluate and consolidate the results. Check and validate the interoperability of products: develop a test strategy, define the test plan, execute it and write the anomaly sheets. Design and validate the solution in the customer environment to ensure that all customer requests as defined in the contract are covered. Perform audits on the customer network to provide guidance in multi-vendor environments. Solve the problems encountered by the customer and deliver solutions based on Nokia products or 3rd party equipment, as well as strategies for improving operations. Control and manage platform needs in terms of HW installation, commissioning, and reconfiguration. Configure all the equipment from the network manager provided in the solution. Check and maintain the evolutions of the solution configuration throughout the life cycle of the project. Provide an initial analysis of defects, track them, and verify their resolution in the Global Solution environment. Manage the customer relationship throughout the on-site integration. Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by monitoring the adequacy of design and test results with customer needs. Develop and maintain a technical relationship with the client team in a climate of trust. Provide data for all project documentation concerning the test plan, the objectives, and the results of this plan, including the integration strategy and environmental specificities. Apply the detailed design methodologies, processes and know-how necessary to ensure quality deliverables. The candidate has extensive experience both at the technical and organizational level to carry out, plan, and execute or manage validation and integration activities for end-to-end solutions in multi-technology domains.
