POSITION In this role, the Representative provides on-site visibility on heavy civil projects and a cts as a liaison between the construction site and the engineering team. These responsibilities include: + Review construction plans and specifications. + Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and project requirements. + Conduct on-site, documented observation to monitor construction progress, quality, and general compliance with design plans and specifications. + Document and report any deviations from project requirements + Performs basic surveying, testing and quantity measurements + Address any issues or concerns that arise during construction. + Communicate project updates and milestones to stakeholders. + Keep detailed records of daily activities and produce regular progress reports for project management. “Our supportive environment empowers employee-owners to grow their skills, tackle challenging projects, pursue their goals, and advance their careers professionally and financially. It is a place to thrive.”-Scott Murphy, President/CEO YOUR STRENGTHS + 3+ years of experience in civil inspection or heavy construction-related work + Strong technical knowledge of construction site practices and safety protocols + Formal education in construction engineering technology or civil engineering is preferred + Excellent communication skills + Must have a valid driver’s license and an insurable driving record + Capable of working outside in the field and, at times, in remote locations at the project site for the duration of the project + Travel to and from the project site for extended periods of time.
