The On-Site Facility Supervisor is responsible for managing the operation, maintenance, service, and repair of equipment at CMI’s customer site in Chicago, Illinois.
Key Job Functions
Responsible for direct on-site supervision of all engineering and mechanical staffResponsible for the accuracy and completeness of all work performed.shall be available at all times, when the contract work is in progress, to receive notices, reports or requests from the customerCheck work orders and after-hours reports for any assignment to be completedPerform/facilitate PM work ordersMonitor and maintaining building equipmentPerform QC inspections and produce QC reportsOversee/manage third-party QC inspections (VTE)Perform inspections of building equipment and systemsPerform general maintenance to common/public areasPerform service requests as assignedAssist in all phases of repair workAssist other engineering personnel as instructed by the PM/FMAssure proper use, cleaning, maintenance and storage of all toolsRecord various aspects of system operations, service activities in the NCMMSSchedule and review routine inspections (rounds) of mission critical equipmentOrder supplies, parts, and equipment necessary to support repair, maintenance and preventive maintenance functionsPerform other related duties as requiredQualificationsBachelors Degree in related fieldAt least 5 years of recent (within the past 7 years) experience in managing personnel responsible for building operations, maintenance, and repairs within a federal facility of at least 300 square feetActive Professional or Structural Engineering license for the state of IL is requiredStrong verbal and written communication skillsMust be able to fluently read, write, speak, and understand the English languageAdditional Information
