The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for local, on-site Human Resources functions in a busy, seasonal, call center environment.

Job Duties:
Assist in seasonal recruiting efforts including interviewing, scheduling, testing, and onboarding. Lead, organize, and staff open-house recruiting efforts. Assist with new employee orientation, employee development, and training. Administer company benefit programs including employee inquiries, enrollment and change administration, vendor relations, claims assistance, and billing. Communicate with employees regarding their needs for leave and/or accommodations (liaison between benefits and HR).Enter employee information into HRIS systems, as well as other personnel change form management.FMLA, STD, and Medical Accommodations management.Complete unemployment insurance claim forms and attend unemployment hearings on behalf of the company as needed.Manage workers’ compensation claims and yearly OSHA reporting. Assist with other Human Resources, Recruiting, and Staff Management Reporting.Partner with Management and Supervisory staff for Employee Relations, Performance Management, and employee terminations as needed.Conduct investigations as warranted. Participate in and manage employee wellness, company culture, and training programs.Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or related experienceMinimum 3-5 years of experience in Human Resource Generalist functionsPHR or SPHR preferredEmployee relations experience preferredSupervisory experience preferredIntermediate skills in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) requiredKnowledgeable in Human Resources principles and employment lawAbility to work independently in a fast-paced environmentPossess strong attention to detailAbility to handle confidential and sensitive informationStrong administrative and organizational skillsAble to adapt to change requiredPhysical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to sit for prolonged periods of time. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
