CSC Funds Solutions has a growing financial services business unit located in West Orange, New Jersey and Wilmington Delaware. We provide accounting and reporting services to private capital investment funds and their investors.    We’re seeking a bright, highly motivated student to join CSC as an Onboarding & AML/KYC Intern for the Funds team.  This role will be working directly with two different operational teams to learn the onboarding and AML/KYC processes for Private Equity Funds.  
  Someone who enjoys client interaction, problem solving, is self-motivated, and thrives in a fast-paced environment will do well in this position. Our most successful employees are deadline-driven, agile, and work well as a team player or independently. This role requires a strong ability to prioritize, a high-level of communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively given minimal direction. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

Drafting regulatory & compliance internal documentation and control procedures, including work-flow and process maps, organizational charts, and internal departmental control procedures with precise formatting for consistency and clarity.  Leveraging  and creating built-in templates and styles to ensure adherence to organizational branding and standards.  Efficiently organizing and categorizing emails for compliance tracking and internal auditing purposes using folders, categories, and rules.  Developing and maintaining spreadsheets for tracking operational deadlines, tasks and remediation statuses.  Support end-to-end onboarding projects.  Support the development of contact lists, Service Level Agreements and other onboarding materials for each engagement/project.  Think outside the box! Help identify workarounds to achieve the client’s goals, and coordinate conversations with internal business partners on client processes and expectations.  Internal responsibilities (filing, status reports, time tracking, etc.) 

 

What technical skills, experience and qualifications do you need? 

Currently attending college, university, or a similar training program  Graduating or ready for full-time employment within 12 months of August 2024  Focus on delivering high customer service standards  Excellent verbal and written communication skills  Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively  Ability to manage a high-volume of work while adhering to quality performance standards  Ambition to welcome challenges and strive to out-perform set goals and expectations  Agility to work independently or in a team setting, often with minimal direction  Problem-solving skills, including research and analytical skills  Ability to learn quickly and embrace new systems, technology, and processes  Strong computer skills and proficiency in MS Excel and Office  Competence in work - flow management tools or software to generate process maps and project control sheets.   Model CSC values of service, teamwork, tenacity, agility, and being genuine.
