Overview:

The Onboarding Specialist is an in-office position, responsible for providing a quality hiring experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. This position manages candidate onboarding activities from ‘offer-accepted’ to ‘hired’; this includes partnering with recruiters and hiring managers to ensure candidates are efficiently and expeditiously guided through the hiring process, while adhering to federal and state employment laws.

Job Description:

Contribute to a positive candidate experience by ushering candidates through all aspects of the onboarding processContinuously monitor the applicant tracking system to ensure timely candidate flow and completion of tasksOrder pre-employment screening(s) as required, in a timely mannerUse good judgment (and appropriate resources) to disposition candidates according to client and company guidelinesMaintain a high-level of customer service during inbound/outbound callsCommunicate in a timely and professional manner with all candidates and internal stakeholdersProvide accurate and timely information in response to all inquiries and general correspondenceConstantly monitor dashboards in onboarding-related system(s) for pending tasksPartner with HR/Legal regarding changing regulatory demands, as neededMaintain excellent data integrity within all onboarding-related systemsEnsure adherence to FCRA, EEO, and all related employment lawsManage and troubleshoot post-offer applicant tracking system access issuesManage I-9 compliance and ensure timely completion of USCIS requirementsPerform all other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent required1 - 2 years relevant experience in onboarding, human resources, or recruitingProfessional and friendly attitude; must be a team playerPrevious data entry experience strongly preferredSolid written and verbal communication skills, with attention to accuracy and detailAbility to be resourceful and proactive when issues ariseExcellent organizational and problem solving skillsMultitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasksCustomer service oriented attitude with excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills

Physical Requirements:

This is a ‘Sedentary’ position; there will be prolonged periods of sitting, exerting up to 10 pounds of force may be occasionally required. Additionally, this position will be required to:
