Onboarding Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Onboarding Specialist to manage the onboarding process for both W2 and 1099 employees from start to finish. This role is crucial in ensuring a smooth transition for new hires into our company culture while adhering to all compliance and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the onboarding process for W2 and 1099 employees, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately and promptly. Complete I-9 forms and conduct E-Verify checks to ensure compliance with employment eligibility requirements. Run and review background checks on potential employees, maintaining confidentiality throughout the process. Maintain clear and consistent communication with the recruiting team, hiring managers, and new candidates throughout the onboarding process. Draft and write employee agreements, ensuring all terms are clearly outlined and understood. Add new hires to various community software platforms and manage updates to the company org chart. Maintain and update various spreadsheets related to onboarding and employee information. Manage the offboarding process for departing employees, including overseeing the retrieval of company assets. Audit monthly health insurance statements to ensure accuracy and compliance. Assist with other HR tasks and projects as requested by management.
