The Training Coordinator is responsible for the onboarding and site qualification of all trade, administrative and management employees assigned to the Pickering Refurbishment Project.

 

What You'll Do Here 

Responsible for training coordination and qualification maintenance for new and existing project employees Responsible to ensure training is completed for all contractor staff and documented to meet legislated internal and client requirements Ensures all site access security and administrative requirements are met for new hires Coordinates with site supervision and union business agents to satisfy labour requisitions Facilitates project specific training needs assessment Ensures training records are kept up to date in client and project Learning Management Software Maintains electronic filing system for training material using SharePoint Provides support to the Trainers, as required Interfaces with client to ensure that training demand is identified and supported where not provided by Aecon Other duties as required

 

What You Bring To The Team

Minimum 2 years’ related experience Strong Interpersonal skills in communicating with a large team Organizational and time management skills. Ability to prioritize and multi-task / service oriented Thrive on a fast paced-environment Training system software experience considered an asset Advanced Microsoft Office skills, excellent skills in Microsoft Excel required
