We are seeking undergraduate freshman, sophomore, and junior students majoring in biomedical science, biochemistry, biology, genetics, cell biology, molecular biology, or a related field, for a 10-Week Student Intern role with three openings in Waltham, MA for a June 2nd - August 8th contract period.
Position Duties:
This posting has 3 openings in oncology drug discovery:
Conducting biological experiments such as cytotoxic assays and high-content microscopy, cell culture, western blot, TaqMan, etc., in line with SOPs and safety protocols.Managing multiple cancer cell lines to facilitate research efforts. Performing drug candidate testing in various cell-based assays. Collecting and analyzing experimental data and documenting details in lab notebooks. Summarizing and presenting experimental findings in team meetings.Providing regular and detailed updates to supervisors, including troubleshooting for experimental challenges.Position Requirements:
Undergraduate freshman, sophomore, or junior student majoring in biomedical science, biochemistry, biology, genetics, cell biology, molecular biology, or a related field. **Candidates must have an expected graduation date after August 2025.Completed coursework in biology and biochemistry.Prior wet lab experience (e.g. pipetting, cell culture, PCR, western Blot, and etc.) preferred.Proficiency in MS Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Word.Must be able to meet deadlines/balance multiple tasks at one timeEnthusiasm for collaboration, cross-functional projects, public speaking, and presentation design.Strong work ethics and excellent organizational skills.A self-starter with strong communication skills.US Work Authorization is required at time of application.This role will not be providing CPT/OPT support.Ability to report onsite to Waltham five days a week.
