Oncology Program
40 Hours Weekly, Full Time, Dayshift
Job Summary:
The Medical Assistant III (MA) will be responsible for the coordination of direct patient care activities and providing clinical support to providers within one of our clinical practices. The MA will communicate with pharmacies, insurance companies, patients and physicians in a respectful manner and will uphold Baptist’s mission and core values that drive service excellence.
Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
Assist Physician with all tasks associated with patient care as requested, within the scope of practice.
Interacts with patients, patient family, and caregivers in a professional and courteous manner.
Assists other clinical personnel as needed and interacts with the other healthcare providers to facilitate a smooth continuum of care.
Assists with coverage of Patient Access areas.
Minimum Education, Experience, Training and Licensures Required:
BCLS
