WORK LOCATON:

Must be available to work Monday to Friday between the hours of 8:00am to 5:00pm in the Eastern Time Zone.

SUMMARY: 

The Nurse Manager (RN) will be responsible for managing and organizing, the work of remote nurse teams driving coordination of care across the FCS patient care continuum. Performs other duties and projects as assigned.  

PRIMARY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

The Nurse Manager will be responsible for: 

Directing, organizing and supervising the work of their assigned group supervisors and downline staff.  

Collaborating with other FCS departments in patient care matters.  

Assisting upline managers in the development, administration, and supervision of the Care Coordination Department. 

Providing metrics and patient outcome reports to direct manager upon request.  

Evaluating and overseeing ongoing opportunities for department’s quality improvement   

Providing feedback, coaching and mentoring to downline leadership team on a regular ongoing basis.  

Collaborating with HRBP and downline leadership in the evaluation and delivery of staff corrective action.  

Assisting upline management in development of departmental education / professional development. 

Interviewing and hiring staff.  

Approving time and vacation as well as yearly reviews. 

Assisting upline management in the oversight of department workflows and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) including a yearly review and revision as indicated.  

Additional tasks as needed to support team 

 

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSES: 

Bachelor of Nursing preferred  

 Oncology Certified Nurse required   

 

EXPERIENCE:  

Seven (7) years or more of experience as an RN  

Oncology experience required. 

(3) years of management experience preferred.
