In addition to direct patient care responsibilities, the oncology pharmacy specialist will: actively participate in committees and /or workgroups; collaborate in the review of new and existing medications, clinical practice guidelines and other related policies used in the management of the clinic-specific medical conditions. This person also conducts clinical research and practice advancement projects as well as patient care quality and regulatory compliance initiatives designed to improve medication-use processes or pharmacy practice. **Education:** * PharmD degree from an accredited college of Pharmacy or, licensed Pharmacists prior to 2002 with Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college of pharmacy. **Experience:** * PGY1 pharmacy training or three years equivalent experience. * PGY 2 Preferred **Licensure, Certification, Registration:** * Current unrestricted pharmacist license from Connecticut Board of Pharmacy or eligibility within 45 days. * Board Certification within specialty practice within 6 months of eligibility We take great care of careers.
