Job Summary
The Oncology Research Program Coordinator plays a critical role in the operation and growth of the clinical research program specifically focused in the oncology specialty. The coordinator will support the department in conduction and completion of oncology studies while collaborating with other relevant departments and stakeholders to drive programmatic growth. The Program Coordinator works with Principal Investigators, clinical trial sponsors and the department Manager and Director to help ensure that clinical research and related activities are performed in accordance with federal regulations and organizational policies and procedures and annual metrics and requirements are being consistently met. In addition, this coordinator will work with accreditation and regulatory specialists to develop and implement organizational initiatives to support COC Accreditation.
Job Requirements
Minimum Education Bachelor’s degree required Degree in physical or social science or related field preferred Minimum Work Experience 1-2 years of professional work experience Required Licenses/Certifications Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and Training in Protection of Human Research Subjects (HSP) certification required through Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) within 90 days of hire.
