We are excited to announce that we will be undergoing a selection process for a Business Unit Leader (BUL) in our One Water South Central business unit. This role is crucial for managing client relationships, driving business development, ensuring the successful execution of projects, developing and executing the business unit's annual business plan, and advancing the One Water team's progress toward the group's strategic goals.
Responsibilities include:
Develops business and marketing plans and is responsible for meeting business plan goalsMonitors financial metrics and makes adjustments when requiredIdentifies and recommends resource needs to group leaderMonitors and controls staff productivity; approves position requisitionsConducts annual performance appraisals for direct reportsAssesses client satisfaction, conducts regular check-ins with clients, and follows up with action itemsLeads marketing efforts including proposals, client presentations, go/no-go decisions Is responsible for project administration issues (i.e. legal and contract issues etc.) Implements and monitors QA/QC planCoordinates with group leaders, business unit leaders, and department managers both within and outside the assigned business unitOversees all employees in the assigned business unit; however, direct reports consist of managers of departments within the assigned business unitOther duties as assigned
This position requires travel, overnight stays, and evening or weekend work as assigned.
Successful candidates will have all of the following:
Bachelor’s degree in a professional field from an accredited college or universityAt least seven (7) years of relevant experience in consulting or related field
Ideal candidates will have any/all of the following:
At least ten (10) years of relevant experience in consulting or related fieldAppropriate professional registration(s)
