Online Analytics Lead

Position Summary

- The Online Analytics and Reporting Manager is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting key online business data to support strategic decision-making and improve online sales performance. This role focuses on delivering actionable insights through robust data analysis, developing comprehensive dashboards, and driving data-driven processes that enhance operational efficiency and customer engagement.

Role and Responsibilities

Data Collection and Analysis

Lead the collection and analysis of data related to online sales performance, customer behavior, and campaign outcomes.Perform deep-dive analysis to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement in online operations.Ensure the accuracy and consistency of data collected across multiple platforms and sources.

Dashboard Development and Reporting

Design and develop interactive dashboards and visualizations to provide real-time insights for key performance indicators (KPIs), including conversion rates, sales trends, customer engagement, and campaign effectiveness.Generate periodic reports to track online business performance, including weekly, monthly, and quarterly summaries.Present data-driven findings and actionable recommendations to stakeholders, including marketing, sales, and IT teams.

Operational Insights and Improvements

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas of inefficiency and recommend data-backed strategies for improvement.Utilize analytics to measure the success of online initiatives, campaigns, and promotional activities.Provide detailed post-analysis reports to evaluate campaign ROI and suggest enhancements for future initiatives.

Data Governance and Process Optimization

Maintain data integrity, accuracy, and governance in all reporting systems.Optimize reporting tools and processes to streamline the flow of data and reduce reporting turnaround times.Continuously improve data collection methodologies to ensure reliable and actionable insights.
 

Collaboration and Communication

Partner with marketing, sales, IT, and operations teams to align on data requirements and reporting goals.Act as the analytics subject-matter expert to provide guidance on interpreting data trends and their implications.Support leadership teams with customized data reports for strategic decision-making.

Skills and Qualifications

Strong proficiency in analytics tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Power BI, Tableau, or similar).Experience with Excel, and other data analytics tools.Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey data findings to non-technical stakeholders.Experience in eCommerce or online sales analytics is a plus
