Position Title:  Online Enrollment and Student Support Specialist

Department:  Online Programs

Reports to:  Assistant Director of Online Program Management and Student Support

Appointment:  Full-Time (12 months)

Status:   Exempt

Bradley University invites applications for an Online Enrollment and Student Support Specialist for online programs. This position will provide online student support services and serve as a student success coach from matriculation to graduation. The qualified applicant will also provide advising and registration assistance to current and prospective online students. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to function autonomously while collaborating with faculty and staff from a variety of academic departments and administrative offices. 

Responsibilities include:

Communicate with prospective students and discuss the content and structure of online programs through phone, email, text, etc.Utilize the admission CRM system to track and monitor student interactions, build customized queries, and run reports.Guide and advise the admitted students through onboarding process.Assist with the registration of students and monitor online course enrollment.Share programmatic enrollment data and trends, and assist academic program directors with enrollment projections.Support online students throughout their college career. Build friendly and professional relationships with new and returning students, maintain regular contact with students, ensure students are on track for graduation, and provide help and guidance as needed.Create and distribute monthly newsletters to inform online students of deadline, upcoming events, etc.Monitor student satisfaction and coordinate problem resolution while maintaining a high level of professionalism.Adhere to University policies and FERPA and ADA guidelines.Participate in team meetings and professional development related to the recruitment, advising, registration, and general support of online students. Manage and update OODE’s social media accounts.Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications:

Bachelor of Arts or Sciences degree required.

Preferred Qualifications:

General knowledge of enrollment management and retention best practices and the ability to apply them to an online learning environment.Two years of experience working with students in higher education.Previous admission and financial aid experience.Slate CRM experience.Microsoft Office Suite experience.Strong data analytical skills.Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with diverse constituents and to provide high-quality support and customer service to students.Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Sensitivity to the needs of students from diverse backgrounds.
