Onsite IT Support Representative II - Temp-To-Hire

Job Title: IT Support Representative II 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Troubleshoot Help Desk issues via phone, walk-up, email or through our ticketing system. Provide training for new employees and serve as first point of contact for new employee questions. Maintain the AD database of users as well as our internal inventory system. Handle larger assigned projects outside of the daily duties. Assist in departmental operational duties including but not limited to support calls, laptop deployments, equipment setups, and rapid response to pressing issues. Install proprietary and commercial PC application packages and configure target PC systems. Install computer hardware components (disk drives, RAM, interface hardware, monitors, printers and other computer related hardware) in accordance with standards and specifications. Contribute ideas for and suggestions in developing processes involving system deployment. Support, monitor, test, and troubleshoot hardware and software issues. Stay current with system information, changes and updates. Develop, document, and maintain information for in-house computer related hardware and equipment including configuration settings, IT-Help Desk requests and resolutions, etc. Maintain a high-level process for troubleshooting hardware and software issues and developing strategies to mitigate widespread issues across the organization. Provide occasional off hours or offsite support if necessary.

Job Specifications (incl. Education requirements, minimal experience, computer skills required, etc.) 

Two (2) years of Help Desk experience through experience. Experience with Tanium, Snow, and/or SCCM preferred.  Bachelor’s Degree, A+ certification or Technical School Certificate in related field is required. Technical proficiency in current personal computer technology (PCs, Multifunction printers, hard drives, Ethernet, Bluetooth, etc.) Familiarity with Ethernet and network Communications equipment and ability to troubleshoot TCP/IP, DHCP and DNS issues. Hands on experience with Windows 11. Knowledge of Microsoft Server, Active Directory, and Office365. Be comfortable working within a ticketing system. Be able to quickly adapt to a rapidly changing environment. Strong customer service and communications skills required.

Compensation Range:   $31 - $36 per hour
