An opportunity has arisen working within a key Canon customer site for a (Part time) Onsite Operative. The Onsite Operative is responsible for maintaining the correct levels of consumableson the fleet of MFD’s, ensuring maximin uptime and customer satisfaction is achieved by having an “always ready” fleet of devices. The role also requires the strict management of consumable stock and deliveries to ensure a JIT (Just In Time) ethos is maintained with consumables management and deployment. You will be working closely with the Client Services Manager, a team of engineers and supporting technical teams in the company. As the Onsite Operative you will support the engineering team with the daily operations of the managed print & document services provision.
- Respond proactively to device notifications where toner, waste toner levels require attention across the campus.
- Carry out regular maintenance checks, identify, fix or escalate potential incidents within Canon to the appropriate support functions.
- Collection and disposal of used toner and waste receptacles as per the agreed contract SLA’s
- To maintain “show room appearance” of all devices, ensuring requisite levels of consumables are provided to all machines.
- Monitor consumables by volume, historic data to support maximum uptime of devices and minimize waste and over stocking with accurate stock controls.
- Escalation reporting of incident/problem management via the account Client Services Manager
- Support the Client Services Manager with client reviews, by collating accurate performance statistics from tasks undertaken ie consumable deliveries.

The Onsite Operative will need:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Applications, Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- To demonstrate the ability to support logical fault finding and resolution of printer related Issues ie clearing paper jams, to minimize Technician attendance
- Full UK driving license.
- Have the ability to lift boxes with a weight of up to 25kg
- Excellent Communication Skills (Verbal & Written) You will needAs the Onsite operative, you will possess the following skills and expertise.

Salary – £10700 - £11300 (part time 4 hours a day, 5 days a week)
