We are hiring immediately a Field Project Delivery Lead, anywhere in the US near a major airport – a role critical to customers’ electricity, heating, and cooling needs.

Job Description Summary

Lead onsite project teams through planning, installation, commissioning, and operations phases of project life cycle.  Coordinate Projects and Operations resources to execute and deliver projects in varying industries, locations, and environments.   You will plan, direct, coordinate, and budget activities concerned with the installation, operations, and demobilization of temporary utility projects.

What you’ll do:

Plan, estimate, schedule, organize, and direct activities concerned with project installation, maintenance, and demobilizationBe a safety champion: Lead by example and hold others responsible for working safely and providing a safe working environmentLead and administer technicians and contractors in the fieldManaging 3-5 major projects at a timeManage a wide range of project types and complexities and adapt to change as requiredTravel 40-60 % of time to any area in North America in varying industries and environmentsSupport Project Delivery teams during the preliminary, installation and commissioning phases of the project life cycle.Define, develop and implement control systems that enhance the functional and operational efficiency of equipment and project sites.Compile engineering design reports and electrical and mechanical systems schematic drawings using CAD.Support all project design change activitiesDesign and specification of ‘specialist’ electrical equipment in conjunction with the Product team.Lead the technical elements of a FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) / SAT (Site Acceptance Test).Customer service focus with clients and internal stakeholders

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent 5-9 years related experience5+ years of significant project experiencePersistent, positive, critical thinking, self-reliant personalityProject Management certification from PMI, APM, or equivalent is a plusWorking in/with the petrochemical or utilities fields preferredBackground knowledge in project management of one or more product related fields preferred (HVAC, Electrical and/or Power Generation, etc.)Ability to read and interpret one-line diagrams, P&IDs and process design packagesAbility to recognize major issues ahead of time and alert key stakeholders to develop corrective actionsWork cooperatively and effectively with others to set goals, resolve problem, and make decisions enhancing project effectiveness
