What You Will Be Doing:The Onsite Project Moderator will be based onsite in Sunnyvale, California, and will engage directly with participants to create a positive experience while ensuring that study requirements are met. Their main duties include moderating user sessions, updating the production team, and troubleshooting data collection technology.
Role Responsibilities
Operate and maintain data collection equipment, offload data, manage logistics, provide daily reports, and lead the overall high-quality data generation for this effort, day in, day out
Understand provided project documentation to assist participants
Interact with participants and lead them through data collection projects
Capture data for the assigned project, aiming to reach the targeted daily goal
Utilize client tools to label/tag data
Convey sessions details to the Project Manager and Production team
Communicate and coordinate with project team
Interact with various hardware & software
Assist in preparing session materials and setting up facility
Monitor and manage participant flow within the site
Address participant questions and concerns in a professional manner
Provide feedback on session dynamics and participant engagement
Ability to lift up 25lbs when needed
Who We Are Looking For:Role Requirements – Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Hardware/software troubleshooting experience
Professional proficiency in English
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to manage groups and foster a positive environment
Detail-oriented with a knack for problem-solving
Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing scenarios

Goal driven and objective mindset
Integrity and strong work ethic

Knowledge of research methodologies and ethical considerations is a plus
Role Requirements – Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, communications, or related field preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted
Basic technical knowledge and experience in using iOS
Experience in moderation, facilitation, proctoring or similar roles
Experience with report creation, monitoring and updating
Experience in data collection projects, preferred
