Onsite SDET with Karate

Location- Hybrid Role-3 days in the office- Dallas TX /Pittsburgh PA /Cleveland OH

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent related work experience.

10-14 years of development and/or test automation experience. Experience in network programming and/or developing/designing large software systems.

API test automation using Karate, RestAssured and Postman (Karate experience is must)

Experience in designing UI & API test automation frameworks

Automation of UI using Selenium WebDriver and Cucumber

Good programming knowledge – Java

Java and OOPS concepts.

Selenium and REST Assured framework.

Customization of automation frameworks using Karate.

Experience of working in Agile – Scrum

Coordinate with onsite and offshore teams to ensure 100% delivery.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management and Engineering, to streamline issue resolution process.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Write UI and API automation scripts to debug and fix the scripts if there are any issues. Analyze the user stories and develop automation test scripts using Selenium BDD Cucumber Dry run / complete/implement, the developed automation scripts Make modifications to automation frameworks as needed Responsible for providing technical support in automation scripting of other team members, review automation scripts and make sure it is industry standards Maintain the existing test automation framework and suites of automated test cases Collaborate with the QA Manager to plan, implement and make sure the strategic road map for automated testing services Assist with the estimation, prioritization, planning and coordination of testing activities Mentor and cross-trains QA staff onsite and offshore in the execution and support of unique testing services Stay up to date on new testing tools and test strategies Other duties as assigned
