**DESCRIPTION** We are looking for a talented **Onsite Service Technician.** to join our high performing Field Service team. The **Gunnedah Basin** mining region is home to over **170 Cummins High Horsepower engines** , powering a range of mining equipment. **Key Responsibilities:** + First responder to breakdown events + Fleet maintenance + Capturing engine data + Fault diagnostics + Diagnoses and completes less complex repairs to engines at the customer’s site + Diverse range engine repairs, both major and minor + Working autonomously as well as having the ability to work in a great team environment + Work with other major Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) + The face of Cummins at the customer site **RESPONSIBILITIES** **To be successful in this role you will need the following:** + Mechanical trades qualified as Heavy Diesel Mechanic OR Heavy Plant Mechanic. + Field service experience wihitn a Mien Site is ideal coupled with heavy duty engine experience + Experience as a Diesel Mechanic in the service and maintenance of heavy diesel products, and similar applications is preferred (ideally with an OEM) + Previous repairs and maintenance experience with Marine, Power Generation, On Highway Truck, Mining, Construction or Agriculture applications is desirable but not essential. **_At Cummins, we are an equal opportunity employer dedicated to diversity in the workplace.
