Onsite Specialist Lead

The On-site Lead serves as the primary onsite sales representative for generating onsite lead retrieval revenue.

Scope:

The Onsite Lead Specialist manages the sales, technical, logistical, and customer service aspects of onsite lead retrieval services with a full portfolio consisting of primarily key and strategic accounts.

Primary Responsibilities

60% - Deploy all sales tactics and strategies as defined by manager.  Activities will focus on “in booth” selling. Perform the onsite lead or eventBit lead retrieval role, including management of equipment (lead retrieval device preparation, distribution, and return), and management of temporary staff. Successfully test and evaluate new lead retrieval technology in the field. Focus on revenue goals, both at the show level and the cumulative level. Requires working with key stakeholders in other departments, clients, decorators, and other contractors associated with assigned events.  Also requires use of a variety of in-house applications. Monitor and reforecast show expense budgets as related to this position.

40% - Create reports as required by client service agreement relating to lead retrieval or eventBit hub performance on events.

Perform all post event financial requirements relating to assigned event’s lead retrieval deployment as required by manager. Follow up with exhibitors post event that require assistance. Occasionally assist the advance telemarketing staff in making telephone sales calls during “non-travel” time as required.

Qualifications:

1.  Three years prior experience with face-to-face selling and/or onsite trade show experience, or associates/bachelor’s degree with a concentration in business related subject matter preferred

2.  Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities while meeting deadlines

3.  Excellent customer service skills

4.  Ability to travel frequently (up to 40%)

5.  Strong written and verbal communication skills

6.  Technical proficiency with MS Word, Outlook and Excel

7.  Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

8.  Ability to lift and carry 25 lbs. repeatedly
