Onsite Sr. Coordinator, Inventory Services

The Opportunity:

In this role, you will report to the Onsite Service Manager and will work closely with the Avantor’s Lab and Production Services professionals to serve our customers by performing customized, mission-based lab work and research protocols that help return time back to science.

Location: Cedar Creek, TX 78612

Shift: Part-time (Mon. Wed., Fri.) 5hrs per day.

Hourly Rate: $23/hr.(bi-weekly)

What we’re looking for

Education:

A high school diploma/ GED is required

Experience:

1-2 years of experience working in a GMP or pharmaceutical environment is preferred.

1-2 years applicable experience in customer services/purchasing/or account management

A minimum of 1 -2 years of face-to-face customer service experience is required

Collaboration Tool:

Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Word, Excel, and Office) experience preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of Information intermediate digital literacy including Microsoft Office with proficiency in Word and Excel

Solid understanding and experience in either shipping, inventory, or purchasing

Excellent Customer Service Skills: displays a professional can do demeanor

High regard for safety, quality, and adherence to protocols, policies, and procedures

Ability to self-manage and self-motivate, forward-thinking

Ability to prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines

Avantor’s Lab and Production Services team is a crucial part of the Avantor Services group serving over 500 customers in biopharma, pharmaceutical, educational, industrial, and high-tech industries with customizable, flexible solutions and end-to-end laboratory operations support.

In this role you will:

 

Maintain approved physical inventory of items at defined locations (see Attachment A) 

Maintain all related program inventory information within Inventory Manager software application.   

Replenishment of stock and ordering of supplies as needed 

Receiving functions related in incoming program material  

Create and maintain location and item bar codes at all point of use areas 

Review monthly inventory metrics and make recommendations for inventory level adjustments, and item removal/adds/alternatives 

Add new items and delete obsolete items from Inventory Manager as necessary upon approval 

Assist with setup of point of use locations; shelves, racking, cabinets, bins, and signage as required
