To excel in this position, you should have a solid background in delivering diverse software solutions, encompassing engineering enhancements, process re-engineering, and automation of manual processes. Proven experience as a Progress Developer with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in Progress 4GL/OpenEdge.Your expertise should cover the following areas:
Operating Systems and Databases:Proficient in data modeling and ETL development.Strong command of Progress database (4GL), ProMon and Linux Command Line Tools.Familiarity with OpenEdge WebSpeed and 4GL language concepts.Work on database design and optimization for Progress DB.Amazon Web Services (AWS):Demonstrated proficiency in various AWS services, such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and API Gateway.A plus if you hold AWS certification(s).Programming:Ability to write well-structured, maintainable, and efficient Python and 4GL/Webspeed code to empower different software components.Ability to create GUI and CHUI based programs.
