Job Description The Operating Model & Process Partner plays a critical role in shaping and evolving ISG’s organizational effectiveness by co-developing and refining the operating model to drive business agility and execution excellence. This role works closely with functional leaders and transformation teams to reimagine, streamline, and automate end-to-end delivery and support processes.With a focus on fostering process discipline, the Partner ensures that critical workflows are clearly documented, measured, and continuously improved. The role also integrates cross-functional transformation efforts—such as Project DEEP, Service-Centric Operations (SCO), and the ISG Operating Model refresh—into a cohesive and aligned implementation roadmap.
The Partner is accountable for accelerating process performance through simplification, turnaround time reduction, and the removal of friction points. Crucially, they also design and embed adoption support mechanisms to help teams understand, embrace, and sustain operating model and process changes.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Co-develop and refine ISG’s operating model, ensuring that organizational design, team interactions, and ways of working support business agility and execution.
Partner with functional and transformation teams to reimagine, streamline, and automate end-to-end delivery and support processes.
Drive process discipline across ISG by ensuring that key processes are inventoried, documented, measured, and continuously improved.
Integrate cross-cutting transformation efforts (e.g., Project DEEP, SCO, ISG Operating Model) to ensure alignment and avoid siloed implementation.
Accelerate process performance, focusing on reducing turnaround times, removing unnecessary handoffs, and simplifying execution workflows.
Embed adoption support mechanisms to ensure operating model and process changes are understood, adopted, and sustained by teams.
Core Deliverables:
ISG Operating Model Blueprint with aligned roles, workflows, and decision points across core teams.
End-to-End Process Inventory and Documentation, covering key operational and support processes with ownership, SLAs, and improvement points.
Process Turnaround Time (TAT) Baselines and Dashboards, with targets and action plans for high-impact areas.
Quarterly Process Health Assessments, focusing on documentation completeness, automation level, and cross-functional friction points.
Adoption Playbooks and onboarding materials for new or revised processes, tailored by audience and maturity.
Synthesis Reports that bridge process transformation work across initiatives to create one cohesive improvement path.
Hiring Requirements:
Work Experience:
Minimum 6–8 years in strategy, transformation, or operations roles.
Experience leading or supporting enterprise-wide operating model or process redesign efforts.
Proven track record in cross-functional project management, preferably within IT, consulting, or digital organizations.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
Master’s degree or MBA is a plus but not required.
Certifications (preferred but not mandatory):
Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher)
Certified Business Process Professional (CBPP)
Prosci Change Management
Agile or SAFe certification
Success Metrics / KPIs:
% of processes inventoried, documented, and assigned clear ownership.
% of Tier 1 & Tier 2 processes with SLA-defined turnaround times.
% reduction in process TATs across prioritized workflows.
Completion rate of quarterly Process Health Assessments.
% adoption rate of new/revised processes within target teams (based on post-implementation surveys or usage logs).
% alignment score in operating model assessments (e.g., decision-right clarity, process handoff quality).
Number of siloed transformation efforts integrated into a cohesive roadmap.
