Summary
The main purpose of the Operating Room/Anesthesia Assistant is to assist caregivers to deliver quality patient care in accordance with Cambridge Health Alliance and the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses standards for nursing practice and the Operating Room/Anesthesia Assistant role expectations. The role of the Operating Room/Anesthesia Assistant is to maintain a safe, clean, orderly perioperative environment and to assist anesthesia providers in the provision of anesthesia to surgical patients. Clinical leadership at Cambridge Health Alliance is manifested by personal commitment, accountability, and initiative in clinical practice. Patients are our priority. The Operating Room/Anesthesia Assistant, as a perioperative team member, assists patients to reach their healthcare goals.
