Operation Manager

Organize and oversee the daily operations of the company. Ensure that the business unit is well-coordinated and productive by managing procedures and coaching the people involved within operations.Responsible for the business unit’s operations capacity planning, resources and management.Support business unit growth while continuing to build the skill sets and lead a strong team of people with cross-functional responsibilities, including training matrix.Coordination of Manufacturing/Production efficiency.Work instruction conformanceManage production scheduling, resource planning and development, and total manufacturing cost.Work with GM on establishing an annual manufacturing budget, including the capital equipment budget.Responsible for aspects of the business unit’s operational performance results including the achievement of Lean Scorecard targets, Materials plan targets, and other operational scorecard initiatives (including FG Kan Ban, 5S).Coach team members and continue to support the Creation Core Values while developing a strong culture.Provide support for key customer accounts including developing relationships with some customer executives and resolving customer issues.Serve as a member of the Business Unit’s Leadership Team and play a key role in the achievement of the Company’s Vision and Strategy within the business unit.Collaborate with other Functional teams in the establishment of procedures as required by the appropriate standards/ regulations, OEM contractual obligations and customer requirements, in ensuring our continuing compliance.Manage the Health and Safety and Environmental functions to drive best practices within the Business Unit.Support other areas of the company with respect to joint initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Previous experience working in an Operations role, minimum 5 years related Operations and leadership experience.Relevant post-secondary business or engineering education degree is preferredProcess engineering education, training, and background would be an asset.Entrepreneurial, innovative, flexible team player with a good business acumen, high degree of personal initiative, strong leadership and people skills, and effective presentation and communication abilities.A results-oriented and “make it happen” type person, who is not afraid to get into the game and do whatever needs to be done for the team to win.Experience in the Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) industry or related industry is required.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the anticipated starting pay for new hires for this position is between $80,000-$120,000 USD; a shift differential may also be provided depending on the work hours. Full-time employees are also eligible for performance-based bonuses and benefits.  This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as a final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, education, location, and shift
