Danfoss Power Solution (DPS) is a leader in the mobile and industrial fluid power industries with components that is commonly used in the construction & mining, oil & gas and marine, agricultural, discrete manufacturing and processing industries.
For our growing project business in Indonesia we are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead our overall fulfilment activities. From our facility in East Jakarta, we are delivering customized solutions and turn-key project mainly to customers in the Palm Oil and Mining industry. Our scope of supply includes design and delivery of hydraulic power units, fabrications, as well as automation and SCADA solutions, which we partially do in-house or with our system integration partners. Field installation and on-site commissioning is conducted by our experiences field support team in cooperation with our partners.
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
Lead and Inspire: Operations Department with 3 x Direct Reports (SCM; Production & QA) with overall total of 15 pax and may varies Streamline procurement processes, focusing on cost efficiency, production support, and robust supply chain performance. Proactively address any performance issues across material planning, warehousing, shipping, and receiving. Lead and organize the local automation assembly and testing operations, incl. factory acceptance test Guide production efforts to meet cost-effective, high-quality results aligned with customer commitments. Customer Complaint Handling for Industrial Pump & Control BU and Projects, Systems & Services BU Ensure compliance operations in dedicated areas - influence stakeholders into compliance, always keeping the 'user-easiness' Processing of EtO (Engineering to Order) in SAP (End to End process from order creation to billing), incl. continuous improvements Foster team growth through training, performance reviews, and educational opportunities. Educational Foundation & Leadership: Bachelor's in Business, Engineering, or related field, with 10+ years in manufacturing and operations management (or equivalent). Manufacturing Mastery: Expertise in custom manufacturing, inventory management, and familiarity with gas-insulated circuit breaker technology is a plus. Leadership & People Skills: Proven ability to inspire, communicate, and collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders. Analytical Savvy: Strong problem-solving skills, able to proactively identify solutions and drive improvements. Tech Fluency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and experience with modern business systems for streamlined operations. Experienced in working in a matrix organization of an international enterprise Experienced in working in an SAP environment as our central ERP system Positive attitude and a team player. Good conflict management and negotiations skills. Able to work well under pressure and proven track record in leading a diverse team Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
