POSITION SUMMARY:

Support the Stage Management team and facilitate the daily operations, safe needs and consistent operations of The House of Dancing Water and other performances in City of Dreams. To communicate and collaborate with all internal and external departments, parties, supplier, vendors, and develop a strong partnership within the Artistic, Technical and Customer Service departments.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist the stage management team as required.Run multiple stage management deck tracks for each performance, as assigned.Assist in all rehearsals when needed.Check in performers for notes and rehearsal calls.Maintain the record books which include show reports, health service reports and daily schedules.Assist with distributing the daily schedule when needed.Assist in scheduling costume fittings, harness fittings and weekly trainings.Responsible for posting and collecting the performers daily sign-in sheet.Ensure accurate archiving and recording of trainings and shows for company records.Active participating in learning and understanding all elements of the show including, but not exclusive to: automation, aquatic elements, rigging procedures, acrobatic disciplines and safety procedures.Under the guidance of the stage management team, learn to create the daily line-up and assist in communication of the line-up to the artists and technical team.Assist in the ongoing development of the database system given the requirements of the show.Assist in the integration of new performers and their scheduling alongside the artistic department.Assist with emergency scenarios directed by Performer Wellness in the event of an emergency during the show or training session.Assist with running the training and rehearsal sessions that require stage management support. Work with the other teams to rehearse and implement safety plans and procedures.Assist the stage management team in the maintenance of all forms that are required to run the show.In the event of a problem that occurs on stage during a performance, communicate the problem to the calling Stage Manager, assist with finding a solution and oversee the implementation of the plan until the Stage Managers can arrive at the scene.Provide assistance to the performers and support the performers by assisting and guiding their interaction with all stage management needs.Support the Stage Manager in creating an atmosphere that promotes teamwork and assist in creating a positive atmosphere.Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by the department.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience 

A minimum of two years of Show Caller experience on a large scale, location based, live theatrical production

Education   

University graduate

Must possess problem solving skills and strong interpersonal skills with proven skills in teamworkMust be flexible and able to quickly adapt to unexpected situations, to work with a varied schedule and tight deadlinesAbility to swim with a high level of comfort in the waterAbility to learn or update lifesaving skills and to become CPR/First Responder trained.Ability to perform under pressureMust possess good written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work an extended schedule throughout the creation and rehearsal periodsWillingness to define, practice and conform to safe working proceduresKnowledge of database systems and Mac computer softwareAbility to speak, write and understand English language
