Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to support the development of the planning and fulfillment-related processes, skills, and tools. Each day, you will support performance improvement, including customer on-time delivery and lead time. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring adherence to inventory targets and supply plan optimization. The work model for the role is: #LI-HybridThis role is contributing to the NEMA Motors business in Tlajomulco de Zúñiga.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tInitiate Purchase Orders (PO) in system, according to Purchase Requisitions in accordance with standard procedures, confirm delivery with suppliers, monitor and track supplier performance against PO requirements.•\tSubmit and confirm new Purchase Order.•\tAlign supplier orders with customer requirements (based on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Standard•\tOperating Procedures (SOP)/project requirements) content, quality, delivery and price.•\tExecute Exception Message (Pull in, Push out and Cancellation).•\tAttend internal and external meetings to solve different issues to place a Purchase Order or solve a material shortage.•\tStrong collaboration with internal customer (Planning & Fulfillment, Production Team) and supplier (Strategic Purchasing, R&D, AP) to solve different issues and ensure receipt of material on time.•\tLogistics coordination for domestic shipments and Tracking of international shipments•\tValidation of basic material master information parameters (LT, MOQ, SPQ and safety stock)•\tForecast creation and analysis•\tResolving material shortage issues (discrepancies, customer requirements, escalation, etc.)•\tAnalysis of critical materials (Identify material to be a candidate for a logistics model, second source or safety stock adjustment)
Qualifications for the role\tYou are highly skilled in ERP management working with SAP, Oracle, BAAN, or related, and the electronic and automotive market\tYou have 2 years of experience in similar position as Materials Planner, Purchasing or related.\tBachelor's degree in business administration, industrial engineering, or similar\tAdvanced conversational English is a must\t10% local trips
