Operational Care Manager, Pricing

You will be part of our Operational Care Team, adding your leadership expertise + skills to the
delivery of Operational + Customer Excellence.
**Your Role**
You will be responsible for providing leadership + direction to the pricing team in the setting of margins for pricing
requests to maintain a profitable gross yield.
**Your Responsibilities**
You will be working with a variety of internal + external stakeholders while focusing on the following key
objectives:
• To develop pricing strategies by taking lead on pricing, RFQ preparation, driving sea logistics procurement + carrier relation management, seeking mutual solutions for profit maximization.
• To conduct regular anytime conversations with all direct reports to discuss + ensure traction on delivering performance + development goals.
• To cooperate with manager + colleagues to provide timely responses to rate requests.
• To conduct daily + weekly stand-up meetings with your team to identify + resolve business issues.
• To set selling prices within given bandwidths as per local conditions + pricing policy.
• To ensure full transparency + sharing of same current freight rate levels with customer care locations.
• To support + exchange information with others to gain new, retain + further develop existing accounts.
• To get involved + assist business owners for non-standard RFQ related requests.
**Your Skills and Experiences**
**Experience:**
• Minimum 5 years in Ocean Pricing and RFP management.
• Proven track record in creating and managing all aspects of RFPs.
**Technical Skills:**
**•** Expert knowledge in Microsoft Excel.
**Analytical and Communication Skills:**
• Exceptionally strong analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Outgoing personality, capable of presenting and explaining subject matter to both internal and external stakeholders.
**Project Management:**
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects, working well under pressure.
• Ability to work independently, taking ownership of deliverables.
**Interpersonal Skills:**
**•** Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, and communicate clearly and concisely to achieve positive results.
**Organizational Skills:**
• Exceptional prioritization and organizational skills.
