The Operational Excellence Compliance Manager will project manage the Operational Excellence program, ensure full standardization and utilization, and drive compliance across all Professional Scientific Services (PSS) teams in North America in alignment with PSS global standards for consistency. This role will play an active indirect leadership role working with to ensure full adoption of KPI driven operations to optimize high quality and productivity to ensure teams are empowered to provide superlative service through operational quality compliance excellence. Drive and be accountable for developing and providing tools, support, and reporting to reinforce positive collaboration and employee engagement to assure PSS teams and their leaders are operating at the highest quality and productivity standards including driving and supporting teams to project management plans with timelines and milestones to reach optimal performance superlative service. Set standard KPI’s, measure, and analyze current teams and use for deployment of new teams. This program ensures we delight customers through superlative service that sets high service excellence and exceeds customer expectations through effective leadership and quality operational management KPI driven metrics. This role involves strategy, high collaboration and interaction with key clients and senior leadership so positive solution-oriented communication, influence, and credibility critical for the success of this role.
+ Project manage to drive and manage compliance to PSS Operational Excellence processes which involved maintaining and managing a system of consistent support for all PSS teams across the North America.
+ Ensure operational excellence compliance is consistent with our PSS core values and drives positive culture assurance with employee engagement, empowerment, development, and innovation.
+ Utilize, align with peers, and recommend process improvements specifically to the training, tools, mentoring and practical support provided to teams in relation to all standard operational processes required to have successful implementation and delivery of high quality and operational excellence.
+ Collaborate and align with PSS global operational excellence managers to develop, optimize, and standardize operational and management tools as needed to support business needs. Create and align on standardized KPI’s to measure success and show progress of program.
+ Optimize the program with the collaboration of the senior leadership team to ensure it is fit for purpose and evolving in a way to benefit the business and provide competitive advantage.
+ Collaborate with Organizational Development group to create, deploy, and manage Operational Excellence trainings to increase overall knowledge and capabilities of the employees.
+ Create systems to capture the value of the PSS programs at the local and global level that can be communicated to stakeholders, clients, and leadership. Maintain project tracking and communicate status and other relevant data to employees, champions, and business leaders.
+ Train, engage, and empower employees to embrace operational excellence demonstrating return on their investment to contribute to ongoing improvements and operational efficiencies by engaging and inspiring employees to understand and embrace a culture of Operational Excellence.
+ Build credibility and trust with customers by monitoring satisfaction and driving high performance through operational efficiency indicators.
+ Create standardized reporting and KPI goals to measure program compliance and effective utilization of PSS teams.
+ Assure program site metrics are collected and consistently reported. Assist new program start up with establishing appropriate metrics and setting up reporting templates. Preview and Audit programs to ensure program compliance and use expectations are met.
+ Incorporate PSS safety metrics into operational excellence
+ Collaborate with Power BI developer to create KPI dashboard analytics in PSS Feed for leaders to track use and improvement and easily presented analytics for client governance.

+ Strategic and proactive approach to identify improvement opportunities with the leaders to drive program success . Actively participate in identifying project ideas, establishing baselines, project planning, and project management through execution.
+ Develop a network of local SMEs to ensure a network who can drive local processes and contribute to the overall growth and sustainability of operational excellence processes. This network of SMEs would enhance the operational efficiency culture of the organization and accessibility to all PSS programs.
+ Bachelor’s degree in chemical or biological sciences or equivalent relevant degree concentration
+ Up to 75% Travel required
+ At least 5 years in a GMP biopharma industry leading laboratory or manufacturing operations
+ At least 3 years of training and development experience and/or coaching/teaching experience
+ At least 2 years of operational improvement experience such as Lean or Six Sigma methodologies
+ At least 2 years of project management experience
+ Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
+ Decision making exempt position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., with overtime and weekend travel as needed.
+ Ability to work Remote within the US that is positioned well to airport for travel.
