Reporting to the Director of Operational Excellence, this role is responsible for providing leadership in the implementation of Operational Excellence strategies within assigned plants or region to optimize (streamline) processes and enhance productivity (eliminate waste). The purpose of this position is to develop and champion a culture of operational excellence, continuous improvement, and innovation both within the facilities and across the platform, ensuring that our operations align with strategic objectives and consistently deliver exceptional results.

Responsibilities & Requirements:
Support the rapid growth of Operation Excellence maturity within the facilities towards the objectives for Operational Excellence set by the platform and monitor progress towards operational excellence goals.
Collaborate with site leadership teams to develop and implement comprehensive operational excellence roadmaps to optimize value streams, streamline processes, and enhance productivity through waste elimination, driving towards stretch goals.
Manage strategic Operational Excellence (cross-facility) Projects to optimize value streams and enhance productivity, through the application of lean manufacturing strategies and methodologies to improve production efficiency, reduce waste, and increase quality.
Support the development of operational excellence capabilities of facility leadership, champions, and practitioners by providing guidance, training, and coaching as needed. (kaizen, problem-solving, daily management, etc).
Support the development of CI capabilities (Lean & Six Sigma) within site leadership teams and members building a kaizen facilitator community by providing guidance, training, and coaching as needed through a learning-by-doing approach.
Collaborate with other functions to ensure alignment and integration of operational processes.
Provide updates and reports on operational excellence initiatives and progress to leadership
Drive standardization across the platform
Collect, recognize, and publicize accomplishments of site operational excellence activities.
Preferred Experience / Skills:
Technical or Business bachelor’s degree
Recognized Lean certification Six Sigma Black Belt (Business CIL), Green Belt (VS CIL), or LEAN Certified
8 years + experience of progressively more responsible operations experience in a manufacturing/plant environment
Fluent written and oral communication in Spanish is preferred.
Travel Requirements:
Candidate needs to be internationally mobile and be prepared to support other regions when required. Travel up to 50%.
